Thomas Foods International is fully committed to providing a steady meat supply to its customers in these uncertain times.

Meat processing operations continue “as normal” across TFI facilities at Lobethal and Tamworth.

“We’re all systems go,” Thomas Foods International Chief Executive Darren Thomas said today.

“Our production facilities are focussed on ensuring all our customers continue to have access to beef and lamb, fresh produce and seafood.

“We’re working closely with local farmers and our food industry partners to meet consumer demand.

“There’s plenty of high quality Australian produce to go around.”

Mr Thomas said the food industry was made up of experienced, innovative and determined producers who were stepping up to meet the challenges head on.

“Our industry has faced enormous challenges throughout its history and each time we’ve come together and prevailed,” he said.

“We are lucky in this country to have an amazing food bowl in our own backyard and outstanding producers recognised as the best in their fields.

“I have every confidence in the Australian spirit to see us through times like this.”

Thomas Foods International, Australia’s largest 100% family owned meat processing company, is currently seeking production and maintenance staff for its Lobethal and Tamworth plants.

“All our production facilities operate under strict hygiene and food safety standards
and policies,” Mr Thomas said.
