EMPLOYMENT SCAM ALERT
We have become aware of offers of employment issued by people falsely claiming to represent Thomas Foods International Australia. The offers of employment describe the employer as Thomas Foods International – Australia and have been circulated for roles including Food Processing Worker (Raw Food Production and Processing). These communications are not genuine or legitimate and are not issued by Thomas Foods International (Thomas Foods).
Individuals who accept these offers are subsequently asked to provide personal documents and information including copies of licenses and passports. This raises serious concerns that the conduct may constitute identity theft or related fraud.
Thomas Foods will never request personal or identification documents outside of a verified and genuine recruitment process. If you have received an offer of employment or have been contacted by someone claiming to represent Thomas Foods and you are concerned that it is not genuine, please do not provide any personal information.
Instead, please lodge your concern and copies of documentation with our Speak Up system at https://thomasfoods.ethicspoint.com/ and we will review the matter.
We have also advised the Australian Government of our concerns.
